BLUE CANYON BOYS

The Blue Canyon Boys are equal parts purists and innovators when it comes to Bluegrass: they stay true to the form’s roots while constantly re-imagining their relationship to tradition. The result is a toe-tapping mix of haunting standards, genre-bending arrangements, and catchy original numbers—all built on the bedrock of their collective Bluegrass mastery.

GENTLE RAIN

Don’t let the name fool you, this band can rock! The Gentle Rain Band is made up from the very best musicians in the Colorado Springs area. These musicians have the talent and experience that you normally only find in New York or LA. The Band plays a variety of styles, including Party Rock, Country (new & old), Swing, Jazz & Blues, R&B plus many of today’s top hits.

GRASS IT UP

Steeped in American music traditions such as bluegrass, folk, ragtime, rock and country, Grass It Up has shaped a unique brand of Americana that expresses the feeling of life in today’s American West. Their stories translate to timeless songs that touch the heart of their listeners, and their melodic instrumentation bends rules. Grass It Up has been producing their own original music since 2005 and is celebrating their 6th full-length album, Borrowed Time, recorded live at the Western Jubilee Recording Company. Grass It Up brings a headline performance and has warmed up the stage for classic performers like the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and the Oak Ridge Boys, and bluegrass bands including Crooked Still, Front Country, the Ragin’ Cajun Doug Kershaw and the Yonder Mountain String Band.

CS CONSERVATORY

The Colorado Springs Conservatory has been providing music for events and performance since 1994. The premier arts immersion program in the state can provide music of all genres for all occasions-vocal and instrumental soloists and ensembles, Jazz, Country, Rock and Classical. Students, Alumni and Mentors are available for fee for service.

Dale has been playing guitar for 46 years. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance from the University of New Mexico, where he studied with renowned Cuban guitarist Hector Garcia.

FRONT range strings

Front Range Strings provides stellar live music for weddings and other special events. We offer string quartets, string trios, and string duos. We’re happy to chat with couples to help them decide which ensemble will work best for their wedding. We have tons of both classical and contemporary songs included in our basic package. Couples can choose from any songs listed or recorded on our website. We have some suggested ceremony playlists for couples who want to keep it simple, or they are free to mix and match from anything on our site to create their own custom set of songs.
