Rustic but elegant, Buffalo Gals creates a casual Colorado feel, but casts a sophisticated impression with professional service staff and creative cuisine.
Catering events at beautiful venues throughout Colorado and feeding guests in remote and technically challenging locations, Buffalo Gals can transform a client’s vision into reality using regional ingredients, colorful décor, rentals, bar service, entertainment, and creative ways to finish and serve on site

Specializing in Santa Maria Style Barbeque techniques, we use red oak to sear flavorful meats and vegetables, while tantalizing your guests with the smell of Certified Angus Beef or grilled portobellos cooking over an open fire. We promise to deliver a performance as well as a feast for your guests.

Every Saturday we fire up the grill on our corner of 8th Street and Ramona to provide Santa Maria BBQ specialties for those that come see us. Stop by and pick up lunch, family size sides, or a whole beef tri tip seared lovingly over red oak. Due to high demand, guests are limited to 2 whole roasts per order unless ordered the day before.

SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS MISSION

Buffalo Gals supports organizations who honor and promote protection of our beautiful Colorado resources, water, trails & open spaces, animal rescues as well as the ranching and farming way of life.

By helping raise money for these important environmental projects, we continue to work with organizations like Trails and Open Space, San Isabel Land Trust, Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust, and El Paso County Parks.

We had our wedding at Flying Horse Ranch in Larkspur and chose their all inclusive package and Buffalo Gals was our caterer. I couldn’t have chose a better caterer for our day. Our food was delicious, the service team was outstanding and we loved our entire experience with them. We still have compliments about our food! Kathy with Buffalo Gals/Picnic Basket catering jumped in there and helped us LAST MINUTE as we struggled to make our daughter's wedding turned "micro-wedding" happen during COVID-19. I felt like Kathy gave us exceptional care and very good input leading to a beautiful wedding reception dinner, albiet with a MUCH smaller crowd than original plan. she also effortlessly stayed with us when we had to change locations in the last five days. yes - this gal is committed to quality care of her catering clients. recommend them without reservation. gorgeous and tasty food as well!

I had Buffalo Gals caterer my wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch and they were AWESOME. They were very easy to work with from the early planning through the conclusion of the event. I have continued to have compliments about the food from the guests. I selected the Tri-Tip menu and it was fabulous. For all that is included along with the smell and the setting of the Santa Maria grill you will find no better value- this is the way to go if you want a western touch with great service and food!
