Community Involvement

We sit on many boards and volunteer with non-profits and organizations that benefit our community, such as: Visit COS, Care and Share, We Fortify, NAMI, Joint Initiatives Early Childcare Initiatives, The Chancellors Leadership Council at UCCS, The Colorado Springs Conservatory, Mary Lou Makepeace Foundation, The Colorado Springs Women’s Chamber, Pikes Peak Business and Education Association, the Hospitality Sector Partnership, Pikes Peak chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association, The Wine Festival Committee, the Colorado Springs Executive Association, and the Colorado Event Alliance.

“Seriously, people at the wedding loved the food! The sausage and veggie appetizers were good, too. Often, unfortunately, people come to expect not a whole heck of a lot of the food at a wedding, but our guests were more than pleasantly surprised. And the service was outstanding, too. All around wonderful experience with [Catering Collective]!”

Laura K

“I ordered appetizers for a holiday party of 14. The food was amazing. Everyone especially loved the spinach artichoke dip. The team at The Picnic Basket made it a super easy process. Highly recommend them!”

Shasta B.

“[Catering Collective] just catered our wedding and it was wonderful. The staff was friendly, thoughtful and catered to us the whole night. Decor was simple and worked with our theme. The food was delicious and guests raved about it after and via their second and third trips to the buffet area.”

Rebecca M.

“They are super easy to work with. They were able to accommodate all allergies and restrictions with ease. Vegan cauliflower steak, gluten free, kids meals, etc. Also very LGBTQ-friendly, which we appreciate as two brides! Definitely recommend this caterer!!!”

Deanna W.

“They were professional, responsive, friendly, and above all, made us feel confident that they could execute our catering vision flawlessly. This is something we did not feel from other caterers. Additionally, their menu is great, well priced and they were willing to work with us to customize as we wished. Great experience!”
